MAMe B2B Lead Generation Services
To our Manufacturing Members!
I wish to share an opportunity with that will help you build your sales pipeline and deal flow. This opportunity will be mutually beneficial to the membership and the Association. It is an outcome from our defense diversification program on behalf of the Department of Defense, Office of Economic Adjustment (OEA), where the MAMe assisted several companies, heavily dependent on defense contracts, (during a period of budget cuts) to adjust by improving their processes and transition into new commercial markets.
Today we have the capacity, as an adjunct to our Business Growth Services Group, to assist companies access new markets and/or establish “warm leads” in new or existing markets, locally, nationally and globally. Eighty percent (80%) of our OEA participants benefited from this service that resulted in leads and introductions with some leading to immediate contract work. One company will continue this relationship beyond the grant program and another is moving towards the same intent.
“This past fall, the Manufacturers Association of Maine and Research Consultants International jointly worked together as part of a OEA grant project with Silvex to identify two high volume sales leads in an industry of Silvex’s choice. Both leads were exactly what we had requested and one of those turned into production volume work within a couple of weeks of the initial contact. Their prequalification process saved us countless hours and dollars in sales and marketing efforts by matching us with a potential customer who had an immediate need. We are very happy with the results and intend to utilize these services more in the immediate future.”
-Dan Atkinson, Silvex, Inc.
This capability was introduced by Brad Jackson, Jackson Associate who is the North East representative for Research Consultants International. In our last newsletter we featured Jackson Associates/RCI B2B Lead Generation capabilities.
MAMe and Jackson Associates now team to provide this capability to Maine’s manufacturing base. We will be reaching out to the membership to promote this service which we hope you will take advantage of. From this, along with our broader “Business Retention and Expansion “objectives, we will initiate a process to scale up and provide additional benefits to our members and Maine’s manufacturers.
Please contact MAMe at 207-747-4406 or firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.

"When planning to sell your company, it can be easy to get so caught up in the business side of the deal that you forget about the personal side of things. There’s little doubt that maximizing the value of your transaction and minimizing the tax liability of the sale are important considerations. But to make sure your sale is successful, you need to focus on the third element of the deal: what your life will look like once the sale is complete."
