Van pooling Possible Option for Rutherford County Businesses

Providing employees with reliable transportation has become increasingly difficult. The Isothermal Rural Planning Organization (RPO) has identified this issue as one of the most pressing concerns for the region. It has partnered with NCDOT and 2plus Inc. to study vanpools for existing workers in the region. We intend to conduct a feasibility study of potential vanpool routes. IPDC has secured a grant from NCDOT to conduct this study and is looking for a $1,500 cash match.  If you are interested in helping with this study, please contact Josh King: IPDC 828-287-2281 ext. 1264 or by email jking@regionc.org.
