KRAVET MEETINGS

Kevin Kenney, President of KDR and Karen Thiele, Director of Showrooms for KDR, recently attended the Kravet Agent Showroom meetings in New York. Kravet's top agent showrooms were invited for two days of business meetings that included tours of the design studios and roundtable discussions on product trends, merchandising and strategic discussions on the changing business model of our industry.

The entire Kravet family served as outstanding hosts providing first class accommodations at the St. Regis Manhattan and a tour of the Museum of Modern Art lead by industry expert Steve Nobel. Kravet is the country's largest decorative textile company and to this day, is run by six immediate family members including Mr. Larry Kravet and his wife Utta. Kevin was inspired by Larry and Utta, both in their 80's, and the rest of the family's contagious enthusiasm for the business. The family collaborates daily to ensure Kravet stays on top.
